The AF3V database currently lists

cycle routes or greenways which are open to the public. Each file contains a description of the route and our opinion of the quality of the facilities that are offered.
To search for a route by criteria (category, region, department / county, activity or keyword),

To get the list of all the routes in France, click on the corresponding search field (“Search all routes in France”)
The AF3V database lists all the cycle routes which are currently open to the public , i.e. all the routes that have been officially opened by local public authorities and which respect the four following criteria:
- The route follows voies vertes / greenways ( segregated cycling and walking tracks) or waywarked routes on safe, quiet roads with less than 1000 motor vehicles per day and very few trucks.
- The track or road surface is of reasonable quality and usable with hybrid / urban bicycles.
- The route is signposted
- There are information brochures that describe the route (map or guide).
The AF3V database lists all the greenways that have been officially opened by local public authorities and which respect the four following criteria:
- The greenway is a cycling and walking track, that is segregated throughout its length.
- The track is of reasonable quality and usable with hybrid / urban bicycles.
- The track is at least 5km long.
- If possible, there are information brochures that describe the greenway (map or guide).
If you know an itinerary that is not listed in the database, please let us know by clicking on the following link: Add a route . After checking that it respects the necessary criteria, the AF3V will add the route to its database .
