After vowing he would never return to the MTV Music Video Awards at last years event. Kanye West did his usual surprise and showed up in a thrilling set for this years VMAs. And not to sing an old tune but simply a new single he’ll be releasing in the next few weeks. Unfortunately for you West fans we have the spoiler. It’s lying around the blogosphere and I couldn’t resist the temptation. The track in called “Love Lockdown” and the beats and percussions in there just make me wanna….! Along with that we have a brilliant cover from Rihanna’s Fashion Rock show where she covered the ultimate “Vogue” by Madonna. And she did it in a zeexy way ! For your hungry ears we also have a MAG-NI-FI-CIENT cover of U2s “With Or Without You”. It’s an electro piece based in Denver and named Breath Carolina that has come up with the most original cover of U2 I have listenned to.
Otherwise, I haven’t said a single word on my favourite favourite favourite band on this blog so I will start today. If you’ve stalked me enough (googled me), you probably found some other websites I run. Like www.whitestripes.fr. You’ve guessed by now I’m a huge fan of the White Stripes. I started liking them back in 2000 when White Blood Cells came out and since then it’s been a love affair. I run the biggest francophone fansite and have hundreds of mp3 downloads daily thus leaving me very poor at the end of every month when I have to pay for the hosting… But I love what I do.
