Before you carry on reading, please immerse yourself with the track that played non-stop all along my Paris By Night trek :
With not much happening on a Sunday night in Paris, I decided to share my Paris By Night experience. I ventured out in the cold wearing no less than 4 layers to sustain a decent body temperature. So I started off form home and followed my typical route down towards the 11th district of town to check on mates. Being me, and as many of you know by now, being the lazy ass… I do not like echausting myself up hills and stuff. So I take this route because it’s downhill all the way. No effort what so ever. Then into my favourite district of Paris, the true part of Paris I think along with a couple other. But this tends to win over because of the highest number of bars available in this part of town. Stopped for a couple nems and a spicy beef at a chinese take away and vetured more into the city. More precisely into the heart of the Parisian nightlife which is Bastille. But being Sunday, nothing was going on and looked dead. I cycled more, along rue de Rivoli, which the Shopping Mecca in Paris for the not-so-rich with brand names such as GAP, H&M and that sort of boutiques. Onto the island via Pont-Neuf and onto the left bank. As I go, it gets posher and posher.
The best thing about cycling around Paris on a Sunday night is the amount of things/buildings/people you don’t actually see during the day. The lighting especially. No where on earth will you find that so famous orange glow on street lights, and with a clear sky upon us, you have this crisp, moon light giving it an extra “charme”. Just check out the picture below for a glance of Paris By Night !. Doing it all on the bike makes it even better. Adding to the already really enjoyable time. The quietness of the city at this time of day is just amazing. No rush, no pressure. I luuuuuuuuuuve it !

In other news, Nick (BrotherOfSodwee) has finally got himself across the globe. Into Brisbane, Australia. He has been there for a week now and is adapting to the lazy/cool attitude quite nicely, in fact I think he didn’t have to force himself, as he’s an expert in that field. Met a friend and is doing well. As soon as I get decent picture of him, I’ll post’em upon here foolz. For his relocation. He finally made a big decision and got his hair cut and shaped into a more Australistic feel :
Oh and I miss the “OK” temperatures of Dub-Dub. Here it feels like winter. The Christmas feeling is coming up fast !
And my final words for this blog post will be : MOTHEROFSODWEE IS ON FACEBOOK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I crapped myself when my mum came onto Facebook, went through all my photos and comments to see if they needed censoring, but then I though what the heck, she can’t have had too much on me! It is nice when your mum can see your life in pictures and statuses when you are not as contactable as you used to be.
