DOWNLOADABLES #64 / Bittersweet Electric Sky Touch

Browsing the world wide web for new tracks is one of my favourite thing to do. I usually get to that when I’m sick of listening to the previous tracks I downloaded. Today I bring you extremely good stuff to your ears. Mainly remixes and mashups as it was hard to find anything good enough for this DOWNLOADABLES #64.

The Gossip have produced some wicked tracks like “Listen Up” or “Standing In The Way Of Control” which is here today remixed by what is most probably my favourite DJ duo from Belgium, Soulwax. This track is 12 minutes of pure goodness. Also in the line up we have a mashup with The Ting Tings’ “Shut Up And Let Me go” versus Estelle & Kanye West’s American Boy as well as an epic track involving The Verve, MGMT, Justice & Kanye West (again…). Otherwise Yo! Magesty, how can I describe them ? Erm, two black women, off the hook, with a great flow and some killer beats. Go download it’s worth the pain ! The rest I let you discover.   1. You know, Airboy, I think I’d love some 80s French pop remakes. Like Jeanne Mas, Marc Lavoine, that kinda stuff. Do you know of any remixes?
