The American Boy takes the Pink Poodle for a walk in Munich…

I was meant to post this earlier and was overtaken by the Pink Poodle and her amazing post over at The Pink Poodle on the Runway. We only met once, when I was dropping my brother at DXB airport for him to hoover off to Brisbane for his not-so-backpacking-kind of year out (in fact he’s been in Brissie for some time now…). I’ve been a long time follower of her rants since I started searching for dubai/FA lifestyle related blogs. Since then I managed to become a Flight Attendant myself, here with Emirates, and have been enjoying meeting crazy new people, including J-rad or Jarad. This american whom I interviewed earlier on in the year happened to be on the same flight as Pink Poodle (Lauren “pour les intimes”) on their way to Munich. I didn’t know about that until J-rad excitedly left a wall post on my Facebook profile saying :

Ok two things… First stop getting all my friends to join your facebook… Geeze.. 2nd the Pink Poodle and J-rad the Arab AKA the American Boy did a flight together and we were brought together because of your interviews. Now in your honor we took some photos of us trying to do Yoga in the back of an A330. She didn’t believe that I would do it… Now you must take a look under my Munich photos and we demand a follow up joint interview : The American Boy takes the Pink Poodle for a walk in Munich… ok get back in touch our agents are standing by to make this deal happen.. peace bro

So coming back from my Paris, a little phased out, I didn’t pay too much attention until I went to check out these [now famous] pictures of them two… It turns out to be comedy gold. I laughed out loudly as I saw those snaps and relating it to the interview we had made previously, I was on the floor in no time.

And because Pink Poodle and Jarad are two people that met virtually through my blog, I am posting this very post to thank them. And to share those awesome pictures with you. Head to PP’s blog to check the out…

Jarad takes brilliant pictures wherever he goes, I recommend his Picasa albums if you’re in need of Eye-Candy. He’ll turn your photographic skills to shame… And of course, please do check out PP’s blog, you will not regret it !

In other news, I just came back from Chennai, which was boring as heck (predictable). The only highlight was doing the flight with a “connaissance”. Mitch (click here to read his blog). Blogger too just moved up in seat rows… for the better. Check out his Mitchjet ramblings. And to finish off in the same topic, please visit Traytable’s “In Case Of An Emergency” who has just made the wise move over to Blogger, enabling people like myself to read her entries from Dubai. She is one of the most famous FA bloggers, she’s all over the place… Even holding a place of choice in the Vogue Australia forums (Ijust discovered that yesterday) ! It’s defo a stop on your daily surfing sessions !

Did I just overwhelm you with link love here ?? Probably. Well I’m sorry lol. In any case that was all from me today. Have to catch up on some sleep. Speak to you soon ya’ll.

Peace.

Lol, I do actually feel like I’m everywhere at the moment, what with my schedule and a medium-level case of jetlag/ timezone confusion :P

  4. Just a small suggestion…that figure of you on the bottom right makes reading, what is otherwise great read material, a bit of a pain! It’s hard to read sometimes.
