When I first came across your site, I was pleasantly surprised to see you wrote so well for a Frenchman. (Not that French cannot write good English, but then those who speak English cannot always write good French lol), but you know what I mean.
Then I came across the video “Airboy pranks his roommate” and I heard your voice for the frist time in the video and your English too was not heavily “French”. Here was a Frenchman who wrote flawless English and had an accent not too heavily accented.
And then I saw the video “Airboy does Skype/Mother of Sodwee” and IT ALL CAME TOGETHER LOL, THE REASON FOR the perfect English, and the not so heavily accented English. It is because of your English mother that you sound and write the way you do. It is all so clear now
When you speak you do sound a bit English but the French accent is subtly in there. Now maybe you need to make a video with you speaking in French!! (Maybe Airboy does Skype -Part 2 / Father of Sodwee – Mais parler plus lentement dans le video, parce que tout le monde, ne comprend pas la langue Francais facilement, Merci) or maybe have subtitles.

Paula, thanks for your comment, you too can try your editing wonders. I do everything on iMovie which is the most basic video editing tool for dummies. Once you get the hang of things, you can play around and come to acceptable results !
Marco, you have uncovered the real truth behind my weird accent. I will try to convince my father to guest appear in one of my skype videos in the future. And of course it will be in French. I’m glad you also liked Friendly Fires, they’re a great band !
And maybe Emirates could pimp me out and become their in-house blogger. But that wouldn’t happen anytime soon !
