[update] : I’ve managed to swap my KUL for a Colombo. Happy days ! Short flight + layover, you can’t beat it !And also DOPPLR graciously compiled an annual report on my travels for 2008 if you care to take a look. Very insightful statistics, especially the stuff about carbon dioxyde and hummers…. DOWNLOAD HERE :

Airboy is thrilled with his February roster. I pleasantly discovered my roster a day later it was supposed to be published. From Birmingham. The scheduling team had some difficulty in releasing the precious information on the 26th. Facebook was then overloaded with angry, desperate statuses… Quite funny.
Sat comfortably, I ran through all the necessary passwords and letter combinations in order to access our crew portal and made my way to the rosters. Clicked on Feb, and discovered a brilliant roster per my standards ! I managed to score 3 Paris layovers in a month, 1 Kuala Lumpur 35hrs, one lone/long Istanbul turnaround and a happy Lagos (Nigeria) layover. I was longing the fact I didn’t set foot in Africa since I joined Emirates, but this day has come with my Jo’Burg in a few hours as well as that Lagos.
The only thing I’m not impressed with is Kuala Lumpur, as much as I like shopping there, I really had enough of the place. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel is a killer by itself. So this one is going for auction on the swap shop. If anyone is interested… As for Lagos. That is a notorious flight amongst crew. Apparently very hard to work and the fact that we have to stay in at the hotel because of security issues outside the grounds (apparently the food is uber-expensive, so I might have to bring Koka noodles with me, check out this blog, from a fellow Cabin Crew who works for BA). We even get an escort to and from the airport… Not the best of sights really. But I want to experience the whole woohaa and see for myself. None the less, if a Mauritius you don’t want, and you are more than happy to trade it for a LOS, talk to me !
I have no particular plans for Paris. On one of the trip I come in the Friday so it will be nice to catch up with Mother & Father. All the other times they were working and stuff so it wasn’t as easy !
After numerous emails and popular demand, the roster table makes it’s way back onto the frontpage (frontpage only because I cannot find space anywhere else). That way you can keep track and see the current month’s itinerary… You can also follow me on my Dopplr account…

I’ll take your KUL! Bring something to eat for LOS. The food is expensive and nothing too exciting. For my stay, soup, lasagne, a coffee & a soda set me back nearly $50 …. and that was WITH crew discount
Jeeez 50 bucks ?? Crazy. I’ll bring my own !
Ooooh, no KIX-DXB on 13th
Anyhow, don’t even know If I’m really flying on this date
KUL again…welcome to KUL~
