I’m one of the biggest fan of the delightful duo from Detroit, Michigan. I discovered them a hell a long time ago and been hooked since. I’ve been a complete groupie and an avid follower of the band. Been to numerous gigs of theirs, including being invited by the band to one of their private performance in Paris at the time. Yes invited becaused, in a previous life of mine, I was the prowd owner of the largest French community of White Stripes addicts on the internet. The website quickly rose to fame with previously unreleased bootlegs and we were on the ball fact/truth/scoop wise bringing in a staggering number of visits. We also had a shop with memorabilia going on and made quite some dough that way to cover costs of having multiple shows up for download… Since I moved to Dubai, my first editor (Sabby) took over the website to keep it up to date as I didn’t have any time to deal with it. Together we had a number of contacts in the music and concert industry enabling us to get accurate and reliable information about the rock band. We scored free tickets to gigs and so on. Two days ago after a long 2 year hiatus. The duo is announced to play a set on LATE NIGHT WITH CONAN O’BRIEN (scheduled to air on the 20th of February). I was so pumped ! Finally my favourite band are coming back from the deads and making a TV appearance on Conan’s last show !
Speculation is going crazy on the message board of the website, and people are saying this will be their last ever show together. Jack White being uber busy with the Raconteurs and other projects at the moment and Meg White having health problems (Acute Anxiety, poor thing). Some are also saying that the duo will release an album straight after the show. In any case it’s getting insane in the membrane! I wish the pair came over to the sandpit to rock out some tunes to the musically ignorant lot we have here and give’em a lesson.

In any case, waiting anxiously for their appearance. I just hope someone tapes that and posts it on the internets as I’ll probably to high in the sky to watch history unveal on TV !

So what did you think about their performance ? You can’t ignore that people are going crazy about all this thing, the Stripes being unexpectedly moving/bad that night.
I personally am addicted to their performance. I was the one who thought that was moving.
