Hey peeps. I’ve safely landed in Paris after some crosswinds made the approach into CDG a little more challenging for our Flight Crew. We landed with a beautiful sunset, clear skies and just the perfect spring time here. The flight over was real nice although I must say I forgot how long an hour could be up there. I watched a lot of movies, listenned to my iPod a lot. Time goes by ever so quickly when you work the cart ! On duty over to Paris was Bruno, one of Kalil’s (my flatmate) good friends. So it was nice having special attention (Bruno thanks for the wonderfull flight and the bottle of water as well as the eye shades). Mother and Father were waiting for me which is always nice ! I swiflty avoided being searched for tobacco at the customs. Yeah because now, France applies the TWO PACK rule. no more ! And of course I had grabbed a carton for my stay here. Since the price of a pack here is well over the reasonable price tag (think 5 euros for 20s). So I spotted some “young travellers in their 20’s” the kind of passengers look for really and waited for them to go through. As per my predictions they got searched entirely, leaving the doors to freedom wide open. Got home and was, as per usual, greeted with Mum’s Special : THE GIN & TONIC !
Went to bed after swapping little gifts and gossip chat. Woke up this morning. And the sun was out and bright, no clouds what so ever. I’m blogging from one of the pubs I used to work for. Catching up on the gossip here too. I plan to take real easy for the next week or so. Just catching up with the mates and enjoying the Parisian Spring has to offer.
Will most probably be meeting up with Tall Ben at some point. When we get our schedules worked out. In the meantime I might not be as present on the internet as I used to be just because I need to chill a little and this also means leaving some of the blogging duties to a side. Bear with me regarding emails too.
