June Roster Detailed (to be updated)

Hey peeps. I got my roster for the month of June and I’m liking it. Taking into account that I’m bottom bid I only got one lonely turnaround. Bombay that is. As every month really, not a surprise. The highlight for me this month would be the layover in Bangladesh. Dhaka more precisely. I’m so looking forward to that trip just because my grandmother and grandfather spent 6 weeks there and told me amazing stories about it. Can’t wait to mix with the people in the heaving streets. Maybe ride a rickshaw and so some fun stuff. Also in the month of June are two London Gatwick which apparently seem to be less of a burden compared to any other LHR I’ve had before. And who knows, I might even be able to check out The Kensington Wine Rooms in Notting Hill.

Finally a Kuala Lumpur with no other than Manu the crazy pilipino and Fardiana ! Should be a fun trip ! Can’t think of anything special to do there apart from shopping, so if you have any travel tips for KUL or special places to check out, please go ahead and leave me a comment below ! I read ALL of the comments as I have to approve them before they go live, so I won’t miss out !

The roster below might change as the swapping is still going strong. Will notify you of any changes of course. Here’s the full detailed roster :

  1. I thought you’ve been to Kuala Lumpur before…The Petronas Towers are a must visit, and of course there are the Batu Caves out of the city! Saw that in a documentary. However have been to the base of the Petronas but it was closed so went to the other tower in KL, (can’t remember the name) from where you get spectacular views of the Petronas.
And then of course there is the Malaysian cuisine of Satays, Nasi Lemak (soup based dish if you are into it), Gula Malacca & Ice kachang…spellings?? (desserts) Of course any Malaysian cuisine is awesome (and could be spicy too). And then there is the Durian Fruit, which will make you puke with it’s strange after taste

I know from other EK FA’s that Dacca is the capital for pirated movies. And of course as another EK FA blog reported, you’ll be hearing the chants of “Whiskey” “Whiskey” as much as the calls bells beeping out of control to get refills of the drink LOL! (Just read that blog for the first time last night…Jube something)

  3. Awesome! I was – I had to post the last one quickly to see if I was first! The power of twitter notifications! Anyway, great blog post, as always – your blog is liking sitting down to a good glass of wine! Just love it! Interesting trips coming up for you this month. I just finished a round of travel before the Laviator craze hit but next time I travel, I’ll be sure to get them. I guess photos of people in regular bathrooms would NOT have the same appeal, no?

Happy travels – am now going over to your downloads for my music fixed. I liked the prince/timberlake kiss song.
