  5. Hi. I just found out from Emirates website that the Open Days in Kuala Lumpur is no longer there. Does that mean they have reschedule and not coming to Kuala Lumpur in November 2009 anymore?
    Please revert asap. Many thanks.

  6. I’m curious; I know I’ve seen at least one open house scheduled in the US (IAH?) but…do EK have many US flight attendants?

  7. Hello sodwee how are you?
I have some doubts about open days and assessment days and it would be really good if you could help me out.
I sent my application last week hoping to be called to london`s assessment day, that happened today, but I didn`t got an answer from emirates.
now i am thinking about going to Milan to attend the open day, but I cannot find any information of how to apply for this open day on their website.
do you know what should I do.
    thank you very much!

  9. hey…me too, i am having trouble to register online for the open day in Kuala Lumpur. Possible to send the application via MAIL? should i mail to DUBAI office? You think this will work? I hope they come in Nov09……..>.<

    Posted by pumpkinzmia | October 20, 2009, 6:49 pm
    • I don’t know it is possible send it via mail, but on EK Career Web Page is information about that if you have a problem with registration online you can send your application on Post Address – there is more info. I had the same problem and a few days ago when I was log in there was info about that I am registered to OD in Paris – Those web page is very unclear and work so hard, ex. when you want to add languages to your CV you have to wait a lot of time because the system is “thinking” so loooooong. This page is only for very veeery veeeeeeeeeery patient people – maybe that is a part of checking our personality before interview – LOL.

  10. Oh…for me it`s impossible to go to paris on the 24th.. I`ll have to attend the OD in Milan anyway.
Airboy…do you know where I can find the address of where is it going to be? Because e I need to book a hotel near the venue.
    Thank you very much!

  11. Hey Ben and all the readers!

I wanted to tell you about how I did in the Assesment Day that was held in MDQ (Argentina) last October 17th.
I made it to the Final Interview, so now I’m in the sweet waiting to see what’s going to happen. I really think I did a good job, but well… I’ll just have to wait.

For those going to the OD/AD, be chill. The stages are really simple, and the recruiters are very nice. Mine were, one from Serbia and the other from Egypt and they were really nice to everyone. I suggest you to read Ben’s Guide to EK (it worked for me hehe) so you know what to expect.

There are some things that had change. Ie, for the Final Interview they ask you to take with you:
    -Filled Application Form
    -Filled Visa Form
    -1 Full length Pic
    -6 Passport Pics
    -2 Casual Pics
    -If employed, letter of employment
    -High School, College certificates.

That’s it. Anyways, for those attending, at the end of the day, they will give you some paper work and the guidelines with all these things and other information.

Well, I’m finished. I hope to get to know you and see you around Dubai soon!

    Greets from ARG
