Nairobi. Kenya. A beautiful country with amazing people. The K-sisters gave us a little bite-size of what their nation had to offer a couple weeks back when I flew with them both. Remember ? That was in Frankfurt. Not exactly the African continent, close enough when you have these two on board ! So we [...]

Multiple sources confirm an opening in Cabin Crew positions. Applicants who got their Offer Of Employment withdrawn earlier in the year have received an email asking if [...]

Yes indeed. MotherOfSodwee has Lavi8ted on her way back from Greece two days ago and really couldn’t wait to share it with her son. Airboy. I was dying to get her picture. And today, the day has come to publish ! So here goes :
In other news, well nothing much. Came back from raining Munich, [...]
Feels like a while since I blogged my last entry. Five days in fact. Long time for me because so much as been going on in the last few days. A close friend left the desert for the greener fields of France, landing a job as Cabin Crew with a branch of Air France’s mammoth [...]
CHECK OUT MY LATEST POST ON THE ISSUE HERE…
After receiving well over 20 emails asking the same question, I thought I’d share my point of view here. Many of you are wondering why Emirates has postponed many of it’s Open Days and Global Assessment days without giving any reason so far. I have no idea [...]

This is a clipping I have been reading in the Emirates in-flight magazine whilst flying back home today. I really do think it pictures realistically our generation and it’s relationship with communicating and using social networks these days. It specifically is true as far as Airboy is concerned. The other day, my flatmate’s friend (Daniel) [...]
After answering over 20 emails about tattoos and Emirates policy about them let me make things clearer. You can have tattoos, but as you’re working in a customer service environment it needs to be ultra discreet. It should not interfere with the relationship you build with a customer. A tattoo might be seen as rude/disgraceful/etc [...]
Let’s start with the good part. It’s #40 in our downloading spree and we have classics for ya today ! Right-Click away little devils cause, this might be the last DOWNLOADABLE in a while as I’m leaving for Dub-Dub-Dubai on Friday. And I really have no idea if I
A. have the time to post stuff [...]
Many have asked how to join the company as Cabin Crew, many questions. I’ll try my best to answer them in ONE post. I’ll try to give a detailed chronology of how you could get a job working for Emirates, but that is only based on my experience so far. There’s probably other ways to join but I’ll go for the most common one, the one that applies to any wannabees out there. I’ll also try to design some sort of chart to be even clearer.
